A set of two distinct celadon-toned GUINOMI by Hajime Kato, a Living National Treasure renowned for introducing a modern sensitivity to classic ceramic arts.

Departing from his celebrated polychrome enamels, these works reveal a meditative depth born from his profound study of ancient east Asian ceramics. 
One vessel features a slightly deeper form, wrapped in a soft, misty gray glaze punctuated by iron speckles that radiate a gentle, quiet warmth.
The other, a shallower bowl with an open silhouette, displays a fluid glaze with faint, bluish-green grid-like nuances, evoking a sharp and poised elegance.

While held together by flawless technical precision, their asymmetric, unforced silhouettes bring a serene balance and understated grace to contemporary sake rituals.
