CHASHITSU dans un bureau, Tokyo

Tout en haut d'une tour de Tokyo, un bureau s'ouvre sur une salle de thé et un sentier de jardin.
Là où l'on se réunit, le calme du thé donne le rythme.

À un seul étage d'une tour de Tokyo, un bureau renonce au verre et au métal pour le cèdre, les murs de terre et le tatami.

Une salle de thé à foyer encastré (ro) jouxte un espace de réunion, que l'on rejoint par un sentier de pas japonais ponctué d'une lanterne de pierre et d'un bassin (tsukubai).
Poteaux de bois naturel, cloisons de papier (shoji) au treillis asanoha et une frise de lumière douce donnent, à l'intérieur, l'allure d'un pavillon de thé indépendant.
Achevé en 2022, alors que l'on repensait le lieu de travail, il ménage une pièce où converser et décider avec le calme du thé.

Un sentier entre deux jardins

Un passage pavé sépare un puits d'un jardin de gravier et d'un banc.

À un seul étage de bureaux, le temps d'une ruelle ancienne revient sans bruit.

Un foyer, haut dans la ville

Un poteau de bois naturel s'élève près d'un foyer encastré dans le tatami, tandis que les cloisons de papier laissent deviner la ville. Les gestes du thé et la métropole se rejoignent dans une même pièce.

Le long du roji, la nuit

Des pas japonais cheminent entre des clôtures de bambou, éclairés par une seule lanterne.

Le court roji vers la pièce prépare l'esprit à ce qui suit.

Un vrai toit, à l'intérieur

Un toit de bardeaux de bois fendus à la main est édifié à l'intérieur même de la pièce.

Un avant-toit de cuivre et des lumières douces dessinent les ombres de la nuit.
